The goal of our research is to further knowledge and understanding of the Shark Bay dolphins and the environment they live in. Individual research projects are generally supported by grants (e.g., National Geographic Society, National Science Foundation, Australian Research Council). Such scientific grant support is critical to our endeavors. However, full financial support is difficult to achieve, so we greatly value any support that individuals and private foundations provide. Supplemental funding goes a long way in helping us purchase and maintain essential supplies, equipment, and assistance.
People often have specific interests in what they would like to support and how.
